Q: How many people can the Regent accommodate for events?

A: We can create an intimate gathering for groups as small as 100, or at our maximum capacity, we can host events for up to 300 people. Share your vision with us—and we will design an event set-up that’s perfect.    

Q: How much does it cost to book our event at the Regent?  

A: Room rental fees apply only if you are expecting less than 150 guests, or if you would like to use the ballroom for longer than the standard 5 hours. 

For 100-150 guests, a $750 room rental fee will apply, and there is a 100 guest minimum. If you would like to extend your use of the ballroom past the 5 hours, a $125/hour charge will apply.

Q: What's included in the rental?

A: 
• Round and/or rectangle tables (each seating up to 8 guests)
• White banquet chairs
• White table linens and cloth napkins
• Glassware, silverware, china
• Five hours of event time
• Free wireless internet
• A dedicated Regent coordinator that will work with you and your vendors personally leading up to, and on the day of your event.


Q: Do we have to use your in-house caterer?       

A: Yes. A great caterer can make your event truly memorable. We work exclusively with Dish Passionate Cuisine to ensure you have a fantastic menu and impeccable service. For your convenience, all menu and food service arrangements are made through your Regent coordinator.

Q: Does the Regent provide any decor?

A: Aside from Regent’s beautiful hardwood floors and sparkling mirrors, event decor is not provided but can be rented or brought in. We also offer a great draped ceiling light display and uplighting package!

Q: What is the Regent’s alcohol policy?

A: Per Illinois liquor licensing, the Regent is to be the only source of alcohol – hosts and guests are not allowed to bring any beverages onto the premises. Fortunately, we have fantastic bar packages!

Q: Is there an on-site space for me to get ready for my wedding?

A: While we don't have a space to get ready on-site, many couples enjoy getting ready at their home or hotel with family and friends, and booking special transportation to bring everyone to the Regent together.

Q: Are there other events scheduled on the same day?

A: The Regent holds only one event each day. Should an exception occur, ample prior notification would be given and arrangements would be made to suit all involved parties.

Q: Will I have to do everything myself?

A: At the Regent, we pride ourselves on making the planning and setup process as easy on our clients as possible. We will take care of your set up, tear down, and coordinate your vendor arrival /delivery times. Plus, an experienced Regent coordinator is always present during your entire event to ensure that everything runs smoothly.

Q: Can we choose our own vendors?

A: You may choose your own vendors for your cake, DJ, florist, décor rentals, photographer, etc. We are always happy to assist you with our recommendations.

Q: Will our guests have to pay to park?

A: Ample parking is available for you and your guests at no charge in the private lot surrounding the Regent.

Q: Are there any additional or hidden fees?

A: There are no hidden costs -- any applicable charges, fees, taxes, or gratuities for services are listed in the menu/event planner.

Q: How early should I book my event?

A: It’s never too early to book your special day! We hold events exclusively on Saturdays, so contact us to check availability.

Q: How do I reserve the Regent?

A: To reserve the facility, a $500 deposit is due with your signed contract. An additional $500 security deposit is due 6 months prior to your event, which will be refunded after the event is held, minus the cost of any incidentals. All deposits are non-refundable should the event be cancelled.
