David Lin
After teaching with Fred Astaire Dance Studio in Chicago area in mid 1970’s, David continues to offer ballroom dance classes in Champaign-Urbana area. After building the Regent Ballroom in 1981, he and his wife Ellen have operated the dance and banquet business since then. Certified with ISTD, David teaches American and International style plus all Night Club and Latin dances. They have three children, Geoffrey, Brandon and Anna.
Liz and Philip Meadows
Liz and Philip started ballroom dancing in 1996 at the Regent Ballroom and teach private and group lessons. Liz also coaches many couples to get ready for their first dance. They live in Urbana; they have three sons, Steven, Michael and Nathan.
Mike Weaver
Mike was trained from Fred Astaire Studio in Ohio, taught 17 years in Ohio and Florida. Mike teaches both Private and group lessons.
Sandra P Hendrix-Lopez
A native from Colombia, South America, Sandra came to the United States to pursue her dance career in 2004. She graduated with honors from Missouri State Univeristy with a BFA in Dance Performance and began focusing her career in dance education. She has been teaching dance for over 8 years. Sandra teaches Private and group lessons including the teen classes.
